Without wasting time, here are the requirements;
…The wrong smartcard number (for DStv) or IUC number (for GOtv)
…The Correct smartcard number (for DStv) or IUC number (for GOtv)
…The Correct Name on the correct DStv or GOtv account
….The amount which was wrongly paid and the package or bouquet you intend to subscribe to
…The date of such wrongly paid transaction
….your phone number, believed to be the phone number on the correct account, and your Email as well.
….The Reference number generated when such wrong payment was made. You can see it from the invoice generated (online etc)
….the receipt of payment (paper receipt for physical payment in offices, screenshot receipts or SMS confirmation for mobile transactions.
…..Your valid means of identification. As Nigeria concerns, this would mean either your National Identity

WHERE AND HOW TO FORWARD A LL THESE REQUIREMENTS
Assuming you made the wrong DStv or GOtv payment directly at a DStv or GOtv branded office, then kindly forward all the above-listed requirements to them. They are expected to immediately initiate a payment recovery or reverse order. Time is of essence as the owner of the wrong recipient account would also be in use of his DStv or GOtv account. Your money may be used up by such person unknowingly if reports were not made immediately upon noticing it after payment.
However if you made an online or mobile DStv or GOtv payment and it goes into a wrong account, all these requirements as listed above shall be gathered, scanned where necessary and forwarded as Email to DstvNigeria@multichoice.co.za (for DStv) and GotvNigeria@multichoice.co.za
