A Satellite receiver

A satellite receiver, also known as a satellite set-top box or satellite decoder, is a device that receives television or radio signals from a satellite and converts them into a format that can be viewed or listened to on a television or other display device. Satellite receivers typically require a subscription to a satellite service provider, which provides access to a wide range of television and radio channels from around the world. Some satellite receivers also have additional features such as the ability to record programs, pause and rewind live TV, and access on-demand content. Satellite receivers can be either standalone devices, or integrated into a television set or other display device.
